2024 WSOP Main Event Final Table: Astedt, Tamayo, and Griff Fight for $10 Million Prize

The 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event has reached its final table, with three players remaining in the hunt for the coveted gold bracelet and the $10 million first-place prize. This year’s tournament has set a new record for the most participants ever, with 10,112 players entering the field.

Leading the pack is Niklas Astedt, a 33-year-old professional poker player from Sweden. Astedt, who plays under the screen name “Lena900,” is one of the most successful online tournament players of all time. He entered Day 8 of the tournament in third place with 94.2 million chips and has been a force to be reckoned with throughout the final table.

Jonathan Tamayo, a 31-year-old from Houston, Texas, is another notable player at the final table. Tamayo has one previous WSOP final table appearance and is looking to make a major statement in the live poker realm. He currently sits in second place with 124 million chips.

Jordan Griff, a 30-year-old supply chain manager from Scottsdale, Arizona, rounds out the final three. Griff entered Day 8 of the tournament tied for last place in chips but quickly turned things around, nearly doubling up on the very first hand of the day. He currently holds 130.5 million chips.

The action at the final table promises to be intense, with each player vying for a piece of the $10 million first-place prize. The final table will resume on Wednesday, July 17, as the remaining players continue their quest for poker immortality.
