The Dumbest NFL Rule

When an NFL QB loses control of the football, the refs split hairs trying to determine if it was a fumble or a pass attempt. Let me help the poor refs with this question for the remainder of the season. IT WILL BE A PASS ATTEMPT!

The QB, a person being paid $20 million to pass a football, is standing alone in his own backfield for one reason. He has one purpose in life. He’s there to pass the ball. He’s not standing back there as part of a running play or anything else. If his hand is above his waist, it’s part of a pass attempt. This isn’t hard.
