- Poker Hall of Fame Finalist Brian Rast Wins the $50,000 Poker Players Championship for the Third Time
American poker pro Brian Rast dominated a field of 99 to take home his third Poker Players Championship win and sixth career gold bracelet. The Poker Hall of Fame finalist previously took home a win in the same event in 2011 and 2016 and is the second player ever to win the event for the third time. - Braxton Dunaway Secures His First Gold Bracelet After Defeating a Record-Breaking Field in Event #39: $1,500 Monster Stack
Braxton Dunaway of Midland, Texas emerged victorious after topping a record-breaking field of 8,317 entrants to take home his first WSOP gold bracelet and $1,162,681 in cash. Dunaway will be celebrating with his family before returning to Las Vegas to test his mettle in the Main Event. - Jeremy “ChipChecka” Ausmus Wins His Sixth Gold Bracelet Becoming the Second Six-Time Bracelet Winner at the 2023 WSOP
Following 13 and a half hours of grueling play, Jeremy Ausmus becomes the 19th player in WSOP history to collect at least six bracelets. One of the most prominent players online and live, Ausmus defeated Cristopher “Ccast93” Castiglia in Online Event #8: $3,200 No-Limit Hold’em, taking home a hefty $360,036 cash prize along with the highly-coveted gold bracelet. - Qiang Xu tops record-breaking field of 3,773 in Event #42: $800 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack
Chinese player Qiang Xu bested a record-breaking field of 3,773 entrants in Event #42: $800 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack to win his first WSOP gold bracelet and $339,033. Xu becomes the third bracelet winner from China in this year’s WSOP, which is the most of any country outside the United States. - GGPoker Sends 774 Players to the Upcoming WSOP Main Event
GGPoker confirmed that it will be sending 774 players from around the world to Las Vegas through various qualifiers and satellite events, setting the stage for a landmark, record-breaking Main Event.
What To Look Forward To
WSOP.com kicked off a June promotion with 2006 Main Event winner Jamie Gold, who won the biggest Main Event field in history.
