Las Vegas is getting greener, and A1 Organics plays a major role in recycling, composting, and sustainability efforts throughout the city. Some months they recycle over 900 tons of food waste. Pictures below.
A1 Organics started in Colorado in 1974, then branched out to Las Vegas in 2006. They have nearly 30 years of recycling experience.
A1 Organics Nevada works with 26 Las Vegas casinos, including all Caesars Entertainment properties, most of MGM Resorts International’s, Wynn Las Vegas and the Venetian. A1 also services Whole Foods Market and local grocery chains.
Ryan Lynch, Sales Manager, states “With today’s technology, focusing on sustainability improves your bottom line. Going green saves green. As Las Vegas continues its comeback, sustainability will be the best thing to bet on.”
Ryan also mentioned that A1 Organics is working with Zappos and its downtown renovation efforts. Several new downtown businesses and establishments will incorporate sustainable practices.
