You’ll find lots of butterflies, real and imagined. Over 500 exotic species flutter around inside a special glass greenhouse, then giant papier-mâché ones float overhead. Children will enjoy walking through the trunk of a massive tree fort.  Bright chrysanthemums abound.

Skylights and a curved glass ceiling let sunlight pour in. Then, after sundown, the conservatory is as well lit as a theatrical production. Their staff of 120 seasoned horticulturists keep everything watered, trimmed, planted, plucked, plowed, raked, nurtured, and growing.

If you’re there around 10:30-11:30a.m., visit Mr. and Mrs. Green Thumb for gardening questions or tips. Or from 5p.m. to 6p.m. listen to live music.

With an imaginative mix of greenery and fantasy, the Spring Celebration is sure to lift your spirits!
