The Raiders have improved in each game. Yes, their schedule has been weak to start the year. They faced one quality opponent and that was a 10 point loss to Utah. If Ridley C was playing for TEXAS this line would be a pkem. He is a double double machine and his loss will be felt here versus a great defensive and athletic TEXAS Tech team. Vegas is hanging a lot of 3.5 point games to make a chance for a back door three point cover. G/F Williams is the catalyst and Senior for Texas Tech. He is quietly becoming a star in the Big 12 conference. Coach Smart will full court zone press and go back to zone to make the Raiders beat them from the outside. TEXAS Techn does not have a Hamilton like Uconn so don’t expect a lot of back and forth scoring between these clubs. Bottom line. This is the best defense that Texas has faced this year.
