Stanford looks a little better as far as the eye test is concerned but going back to back to play to away conference games might be too much. In the Huskies practice they were really loading the box and looking to make QB Burns beat them. RB McCaffrey accounts for 60% of Stanfords touches. Washingtons strength on defense is their DBs….so I don’t expect Stanford to change things up. They will look to focus on ball control and keep the ball away from QB Browning who is having an excellent year though it’s difficult to gauge this Huskers team given the weak opponents. Arizona to me is a below par team and took Washington to OT. But I look at it like this.. That was Washingtons first Away game and they have been focusing on Heisman candidate McCaffrey and the Cardinal. Let’s take the team that can win on the ground and the air and look for Washington to make QB Burns be the hero.
