Jane’s Addiction Announces First Classic Lineup Tour in Over a Decade

For the first time in 14 years, Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins, and Eric Avery will embark on an extended tour together.

Jane’s Addiction Returns to the Stage

Jane’s Addiction has announced an exciting North American tour, marking the first time since 2010 that the classic lineup—vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Eric Avery—will perform an extended run of shows together. The tour, which will feature support from the English rock band Love and Rockets, will take place in August and September.

The Band’s Journey

Eric Avery left Jane’s Addiction in 2010, and while he rejoined the band in 2022, Navarro had to miss that year’s tour due to long COVID-19. The band’s last album, “The Great Escape Artist,” was released in 2011, but the original lineup hasn’t recorded together since 1990’s “Ritual de lo Habitual.” Recently, the group debuted a new song titled “Imminent Redemption” at a London show, signaling a fresh creative period for the band.

Perry Farrell’s Busy Year

In addition to his work with Jane’s Addiction, Perry Farrell has been active with his other band, Porno for Pyros, releasing new music and performing final concerts. This dual commitment showcases Farrell’s enduring influence and productivity in the rock music scene.
