WINNER – WHEW….MARYLAND -5 Covers 74-68. Game was played even with the exception of FTs. Iowa was due for a flat game and tonight was the night.
Wow….I thought the Musketeers would be 12./13 Pt favoreds here. DePaul simply is over matched on every position on the floor versus this well oiled Xavier team that is a real threat to go,to,the final four. Xavier just played DePaul two,weeks,ago and won by 20. A change in venue won’t change the outcome that much.,I see Xavier winning by 12 to 15 points. DePaul really has an issue in turning the ball over. Almost every 25% possessions in league play end up as a turnover.
Xavier will get 10 more FTs and possessions based on season numbers. So unless DePaul can get hot from three point line I just don’t see The Blue Demons who,lost to both Georgetown and Creighton by 12 and 11pts mounting any threat here. 4 stars

I like Virginia in a Dog roll here. Yes, they have played awful lately and have gotten lucky as well. However, these things sometimes happen in order for the team to start to focus. Virginia plays their style they could actually win outright versus Louville. Virginia has a style,that if your impatient on both sides of the ball they can grind you mentally. Louville has a couple of individuals such as Guards Lewis and Lee who can get impatient and force the issue at times. This will lead to turnovers. Again we can look at current ATS records and just say this an automatic win for Louville as they have compiled an impressive mark of 13-6 at Home ATS versus Virginia who is just 1-6 ATS away from home. Vegas has made line adjustment too much in this game.Over play- looks tempting as well.
