College Basketball Picks with John Fisher

John Fisher  is one fire again! 6th straight win in Guarantees. Here’s some notes from this week of picks so far:

It’s always dangerous to pick against New Mexico at Lobos Den. However, this Lobos team is riding a 4 game losing streak to lesser foes and has lost 6/8 games. I’m going to ride the hot hand of SDSU who plays solid defense to Virginia. Suffocating its opponents deep into the shot clock and making them take bad shots. This is a Lobos team that has very little talent. It takes more then just a great venue to win games. Need talent. New Mexico has none. 10 STAR GUARANTEE PLAY OF THE DAY

Obrien amd Quinn give the Aztecs just enough offense needed. They have a lot of great defensive players but sometimes struggle scorimg. Lately the Aztecs look a lot better on offense and I feel are underrated. New Mexixo offense has been inconsistent the entire year.

THIS is a classic Home team with revenge on the mind. Teams that have favored at this margin at this scenario are hitting an amazing 65% ATS COVER rate and a 74% SU rate! Look for Gaines and company to win this at the FT line with home cooking and take advantage of poor shooting from a Gamecock team. 4 stars

The LSU Tigers dominates the Vols during the Vols last game at Home to a tune of 18 pts. Mickey and Martin could not be guarded and when double teamed they found open three pointers as they went 9-19 from beyond the Arc. Kentucky will do the same but with their depth Cols will crashed in second half as Kentucky will hit DDs within the 10 minute mark and coast to a 16 point victory from there. 4 Stars…..Townes..Stein get 26 Pts 20 rebounds while Harrison’s and Booker get 34 Pts to make this a must play.

This is a late entry play. If you have time put a small play on Nevada. They just beat New Mexico in OT at Home and now play a Wyoming team that without Nance is now just a shell of itself. Wolpack have enough Veterans to be mentally tough and figure out Wyomings great help defense and win a lot of battles on the boards. Second chance shots will be the difference here. 4 Stars

It’s difficult to really get a beat on some of these teams. Xavier has been like a yo yo. One day they blow out Gtown at their crib then they get out played at Home by Creighton. Cincinnatti goes into SMU and takes care of business with ease then loses at Home to Tulane. In Xavier’s last three losses they succumbed to the 3 ball. It has been their nemesis  in their losses this year. They give up plus 8 when they lose and <6 when they win. Bearcats woes come when they get to happy with the 3 ball. So basically this sets up nicely for Xavier. This will be a big game for both teams but look for Xavier to have more opportunities to get baskets via TOs and 3 point transition baskets.10 STAR GUARANTEE DOG

Everything seems to be coming together for the Bruins. They have won 5/6 games. In doing so they have looked better on the defensive end. The SunDevils despite their upset win over interstate rival Zona have been inconsistent . Their biggest problems have been themselves. They shoot FTs at 66% and their main offensive weapon 6’10 Jacobson goes to the line at a high volume but can only muster 57% on 115 attempts. Then when FT aren’t going down they turn the ball over too much. I’ll take UCLA and the small points here. Should be one of those baxk and forth games. 3 stars

PICK UCLA +2.5

Final ASU 68-66

These two teams played earlier this year  in what was a tail of two halves. Providence jumped out in first half with a 18 point lead. The second half was a different story as DePaul hit 6 threes on way to a 49 point second half Providence was the victor in the end. They dominated the glass and FT line. Both are weaknesses of DePaul. Providence is the better team and Home cooking won’t make things that much easier to cover Depauls flaws. They will get their 3’s but Providence will as well. 4 star

Take Providence -2
