Fontainebleau Las Vegas is set to commence its holiday celebrations with a grand tree lighting ceremony on Thursday, December 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will be highlighted by country music sensation Thomas Rhett, a GRAMMY® nominee and Academy of Country Music Award-winning ‘Entertainer of the Year’. Rhett will illuminate the resort’s Christmas tree at 7 p.m., marking the beginning of the Winter Wonderland experience.
Special Appearances
Attendees can look forward to appearances by Chance and the Vegas Vivas! from the Vegas Golden Knights, Fontainebleau’s resident poodle Fifi, the Grinch, and Santa Claus. The evening promises a festive atmosphere with seasonal light bites and Christmas-themed cocktails.
Oasis Ice Rink
The ceremony will take place at the Oasis Ice Rink, the largest and most luxurious ice rink on the Las Vegas Strip. Spanning nearly 8,000 square feet, the rink offers both public skating and private group events. Open daily through January 5, 2025, admission starts at $25 online, with waived fees for Fontainebleau Rewards Members and up to five guests. Skate rentals are available on-site for $35, with discounts for members, Nevada locals, military personnel, and first responders.
Thomas Rhett’s Residency
Following the tree lighting, Thomas Rhett will perform at the resort’s BleauLive Theater on December 6, 7, 13, and 14. Known for hits like “Craving You” and “Die A Happy Man,” Rhett’s mini-residency offers fans an intimate concert experience.
