As new dog owners we are searching for restaurants that are welcoming to customers with dogs. We tried another one with some success. The Cantina By El Dorado is located on the north side of the 215 between South Durango and South Buffalo.
Dogs must stay in the outdoor seating area. Their north-facing patio is all shade and was fairly comfortable on a 99 degree afternoon despite no misters or fans.
The margaritas were a hit. We tried a house marg and a Cadillac margarita with reposado. The tacos (quesabirria and baja shrimp) were good and the guacamole was better than most around town.
Our server may have forgotten us a couple times because we were the only table occupied on the patio at the time. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at The Cantina By El Dorado and will add it to our list.
