Donald Glover Revamps ‘3.15.20’ into New Album ‘Atavista’ with Fresh Visuals and Tracks

Donald Glover, under his musical alias Childish Gambino, has unveiled a reimagined version of his 2020 album ‘3.15.20’, now re-released as ‘Atavista’. This updated album not only refines the original tracks but also introduces new material, including the standout song “Little Foot Big Foot,” featuring Young Nudy. This new track is accompanied by a striking black-and-white music video, directed by Glover’s frequent collaborator Hiro Murai and featuring talents like Quinta Brunson and Monyett Crump.

Originally released in an unfinished form on Glover’s website, ‘3.15.20’ was briefly available before being taken down, only to resurface on streaming platforms a week later with finalized song titles and additional guest appearances from artists like Ariana Grande and 21 Savage. ‘Atavista’ promises to be a polished version of its predecessor, maintaining much of the original content while enhancing its overall presentation.

In addition to the album release, Glover has hinted at an upcoming special vinyl edition of ‘Atavista’, which will include visuals for each track, further expanding the album’s artistic reach. Fans of Childish Gambino can also look forward to a brand new album scheduled for release this summer, indicating a busy and creative period for Glover.

Glover’s artistic ventures extend beyond music. Since ‘3.15.20’, he has been involved in several high-profile film and television projects, including concluding his acclaimed series ‘Atlanta’, executive producing the Prime Video series ‘Swarm’, and working on a remake of ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’. Glover is also set to develop a feature film centered around the Star Wars character Lando Calrissian.

For those eager to experience Glover’s latest musical and visual artistry, ‘Atavista’ is available now, with promises of more innovative projects on the horizon.
