Purdue head coach Matt Painter has a magnificent 466-206 career record. That means he has won nearly 70% of his games. And taking over a 7-21 team from Gene Keady at Purdue didn’t help those numbers. An impressive career, for sure.
March Madness has not been as kind to Coach Painter, though. He has made 15 appearances in the NCAA Tournament and never made it past the Elite 8.
