We think it’s worth considering that UConn’s 7-point win over Marquette last wednesday is the last time this season that anyone stays within single-digits of UConn. All remaining games are now part of March Madness, which for the Huskies is the Big East conference tournament and the NCAA tournament. UConn is the defending men’s college basketball national champions and they have looked strong all this year. And what if they haven’t kicked it into high gear yet? We think that’s quite possible.
UConn went 60 days without a loss starting December 20th until they got blindsided at Creighton February 20th. Since then they have won all four games by an average 19 points against stiff Big East competition. We think it’s “go time” for UConn.
