Vegas Season Brought Glimmer of Sunshine to Rainy Chicago With Exclusive Brandon Flowers Acoustic Performance

CHICAGO – Chicagoans proved yesterday that Vegas Season can be celebrated rain or shine as they were treated to a VIP experience despite a summer rainstorm. After braving the weather and a rained-out Chicago Cubs game with Vegas Season spirit, 50 lucky fans were treated to an intimate performance by Vegas native and GRAMMY nominee Brandon Flowers. Flowers performed several tracks from his new solo album and classic hits from his band, The Killers, inside the Audi Club at Wrigley Field. Chef and Managing Partner Shawn McClain served delicious bites featured on the menu of his Las Vegas restaurant Sage at ARIA Resort & Casino. Also served from the gold-plated Vegas Season Ice Dream Truck was specially crafted alcohol-infused ice cream.

After the exclusive performance inside the Audi Club at Wrigley Field, lucky fans received signed autographs and took photos with Flowers. Fans reveled in an incredible performance featuring not only songs from his acclaimed catalogue – “Read My Mind” and “Lonely Town” – but also a cover of the iconic hit “Viva Las Vegas.” Flowers, who was born and raised in Las Vegas, is the lead singer and songwriter for GRAMMY-nominated group The Killers, also based in Las Vegas.

Highlighting some of the many culinary options offered in Las Vegas, acclaimed Chef Shawn McClain served mouth-watering beef tartare at the Ice Dream Truck. Chef McClain is the mastermind behind Las Vegas’ Sage and Five50 Pizza Bar as well as Chicago’s Green Zebra.

Chicago was the second stop of a North American tour to promote Vegas Season, a time to let loose, re-charge and make memories that will last a lifetime while enjoying the exclusive experiences that can only be found in Las Vegas.
